Men’s Health Week – 10th - 16th June 

With several harrowing statistics shared throughout the week, our team decided to do something to better the mental, physical and social wellbeing of the whole headquarter workforce. Our HR team hired a smoothie maker that used pedal power to blend fruits and vegetables into smoothies!

Mental Health Awareness Week - 13th May – 29th May 

Throughout the week, our amazing HR team organised and hosted several activities to get people talking about Mental Health and help break the stigma through open conversation. 

The week kicked off with an Introduction to Meditation activity lead by one of our senior employees. We learnt breathing techniques you could do at your desk or in private to help control the mind and reduce stress. 

There were daily Health Walk and Talks to get fresh air and a change of scenery with a further Tea and Talk Hour in our communal area where our Mental Health Champions were on-hand for a talk with other colleagues where needed – providing private spaces if necessary. 

It’s been a great #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek so far at Boston.

We've hosted activities to promote good mental health and well-being with an Introduction to Meditation and tips for a positive mental outlook!

Red Nose Day - 15th March 2019

This year, Boston hosted its largest Red Nose Day fundraiser to date! All HQ employees wore at least one piece of red clothing, participated in a bake sale AND joined in a company-wide quiz to raise money for Comic Relief!

International Women's Day – 8th March 2019 

For International Women’s Day, Boston employees joined each other in communal areas for tea, coffee and a talk on why they support #InternationalWomensDay.

Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) – 5th March 2019 

Boston celebrated Pancake Day with the visit of a crepe truck! There were toppings for both sweet and savoury lovers, with additions such as Nutella, Belgian Chocolate, Apple Sauce, Cinnamon and Sugar. We tallied the amount our employees were able to eat in an hour and finished with 122! See more from our day below.
