Technology Innovation was the theme of the day so where else to celebrate but surrounded by a rich history of cutting edge cars at the Porsche Centre, alongside the significant Silverstone track. Our guests began the day with a light breakfast followed by an inspiring speech from Boston Limited's Managing Director, Manoj Nayee, before being divided into groups for presentations from our event sponsors. After a light three course lunch, it was time to take the track!
Our guests rotated between a variety of activities, including a Cayenne Off-road passenger experience, Porsche 911 & Boxster or Cayman driving experience and a visit to Human Performance Lab.
Even in the typical British weather, our guests tested their instinctive reactions on the Porsche Ice Hill and Kick Plate. As well as putting the cars through their paces on the handling circuit, our bravest guests also tested the infamous launch control and powerful brakes on the straights; going from 0-60 then back down to 0 in under 10 seconds!
In the Lab, the BATAK challenge tested our attendees peripheral vision and reaction times; two skills every professional driver needs. Congratulations to Jonathon Cox of Antillion who won a Porsche GT passenger experience for scoring highest on the challenge with 46 points in 30 seconds! Further congratulations to our runners-up, who went home with a state of the art drone and Boston prize bag!
